We enjoy taking time to highlight our top performers and the unique experiences that brought them to Riverpoint Management. Today, it’s Alison, one of our campaign managers, who is receiving the spotlight. She’s making the most of her opportunity with our organization.
Before joining our team, Alison decided to make a big change in her life. She explained, “After graduating high school in 2016, I decided to move 2,000 miles away to western Canada and spend a year in the Rocky Mountains. I didn’t have much in the way of direction until I came back to Pittsburgh and interviewed with Riverpoint Management. Since then, I’ve learned so many valuable and transferable lessons for success in work and life. Consumer psychology has become one of my favorite topics since I’ve become a campaign manager.”
During her first few weeks with our company, Alison started building her identity by giving input during morning meetings. “Everyone was so willing to help when I came here that it felt natural to begin sharing my thoughts,” she added. “It’s such a friendly yet also challenging work atmosphere, so I was able to hit the ground running.”
Alison’s biggest source of motivation is her desire for freedom, both personal and financial. She remarked, “Kelly, our firm’s Director of Operations, referred to my desire to be free as a kind of positive anxiety. I think she’s 100 percent on the mark there, because that’s the feeling that gets me out of bed every morning. I want to have time to expand my horizons, using daily yoga sessions to keep me centered.”
We’re excited to have Alison pass on what she’s learned to future team members, including the importance of building confidence right from the start. To find out more about our company culture, follow us on https://www.facebook.com/riverpointmanagement
